Business Committee

The Business Committee is charged with all aspects of the organisation of the meeting of the Synod.

It meets monthly to plan the agenda and other events that occur during the meeting, and has responsibility for the timetable, the preparation of working papers and recommendations, oversight of elections, and liaison with reporting bodies to ensure that members of the Synod are equipped to exercise their responsibilities.

Meetings are usually held at lunchtime on the first Thursday of each month.
