Easter celebrated at UCA camp

By Virginia Lavaki

Easter is one of the most important seasons on the Christian calendar.

In 2024 I was honoured to host the Canterbury UCA Easter camp.

We spent the weekend focusing on repentance, renewal and reconnecting with God.

In order for us to be able to reconnect with God we had to repent and let go of the things that were blocking us from God and renew our faith and covenant with God.

The programs consisted of Bible studies, lots of Talanoa, sharing and fellowship.

The camp will happen again this year over the Easter weekend at Canterbury UCA but will also include the Fijian congregations from Dandenong and Chadstone.

This Easter camp is not only for our young people but for all ages, and is open for all who are wanting to dig a little deeper into their faith.
