Talanoa 2026 will be a platform for folx to talanoa (tell storied realities, invite conversations, explore ways forward) around the “arts of negotiation” in/from their life situations, and to unpack the “gifts in negotiation” for their communities and for the rest of us.

The theme for this conference is “negotiation,” and there will be keynotes (2), presentations (24), and panels (4). The keynotes will address “Indigenous justice” (from UAICC) and “Migration and Climate justice” (MP Anasina Gray-Barberio).

The presentations will address topics in the general areas of Pasifika cultures, theology, bible, climate justice, pastoral care, CPE, art, queer, decolonization, gender justice, youth justice, and more.
