Centre for Theology and Ministry

The Centre for Theology and Ministry (CTM) is located at 29 College Crescent, Parkville.

It was purpose-built as a vibrant educational hub to provide resources and to inspire advancement for all who seek discipleship, leadership opportunities and ministry – lay and ordained – within the church and beyond.

Today it is a multi-purpose complex incorporating equipping Leadership for Mission. eLM is one of the three units which comprise the Victorian and Tasmanian Synod Ministries and Operations. In addition to providing offices for most eLM staff, the CTM is home to:

  • Pilgrim Theological College
Pilgrim Theological College is a community of education and formation for people learning the journey of faith. It offers the highest standards of scholarship in theology, philosophy and ministry in today’s contemporary world.
  • Dalton McCaughey Library
The Dalton McCaughey Library is a collaboration between the Uniting Church in Australia (VicTas), the Australian Jesuits and the Trinity College Theological School. It serves the clergy, staff and theological colleges of the three organisations.
  • Otira Theological Book Club
Otira Theological Book Club provides an opportunity to borrow a wide range of books designed to inspire great discussion, offer another perspective, and further their own Christian education.

CTM Resourcing

CTM Resourcing is a rich trove of resources for supporting, encouraging and informing discipleship and ministry. The resources include texts (everything from books to lectionaries), a wide range of certificates and service records, UCA logos (indoor/outdoor stickers, sew-on badges, lapel pins), CDs, tapers and much more.  Most are primarily Uniting Church in Australia based, some are sourced from external publishers and others are generated by the Centre for Theology and Ministry in Parkville.

See the full range of products available in the online catalogue or visit the CTM Resourcing website to place an order.

Facility/Room Hire

Most rooms are fully equipped with Audio Visual equipment, most with live-streaming capabilities, and can be arranged with tables and/or chairs to suit any kind of event.
