Feast on faith this month

Come, taste and see: Feast of Faith 2026

Feast of Faith is an annual retreat for second-generation young adults and emerging leaders from intercultural communities across the Uniting Church. It is a weekend intentionally created to nurture faith, strengthen relationships and encourage the next generation of leaders as they explore God’s calling in their lives.

In the midst of busy schedules, competing priorities and the demands of work, study, family and ministry, Feast of Faith offers a space to pause, reflect and be renewed. Through worship, Bible study, prayer, meaningful conversations and leadership development, participants are invited to deepen their relationship with God while learning alongside others who share similar journeys of faith, culture and identity.

The 2026 theme, ‘Come, taste and see’ (Psalm 34:8), reminds us that faith is not simply something we learn about—it is something we experience. Throughout the weekend, participants will be encouraged to discover God’s goodness in fresh ways, reflect on where they have encountered Christ in their own lives and consider how they are called to share that goodness with others.

More than a retreat, Feast of Faith is a gathering that celebrates the richness of our intercultural church. It provides opportunities for young adults to build lasting friendships across cultures, hear one another’s stories and grow together as disciples of Jesus Christ. Whether participants are already serving in leadership or are simply seeking to grow in their faith, everyone is welcomed into a supportive community where they can be enriched, empowered and equipped for the journey ahead.

As the Uniting Church continues to embrace its intercultural future, investing in younger generations remains vital. Feast of Faith seeks to encourage emerging leaders to serve their congregations and communities with confidence, humility and hope, knowing they are part of God’s unfolding mission in the world.
