We are inviting you to help shape the future ministry and mission of the
Uniting Church in Victoria and Tasmania.
Faithful Futures is an opportunity for the church community to celebrate
ministry that is already underway. It’s also a call to step with purpose into
new possibilities for ministry and mission in local contexts over the next
five years, guided by five shared goals.
The five goals of Faithful Futures are:
- Respecting Country
- Intercultural Leadership
- Coordinated Ministries
- New Communities of Faith
- All-age Growth
We are building a goal group for each of the goals.
We are seeking people who bring a combination of lived faith, relevant
experience, and collaborative skills. This includes experience in listening
and building positive relationships, and the ability to contribute to shared
learning, resource development, and forming strategic recommendations.
We envisage that each group will meet at least four times per year.
