Messy Miners go to work

In May we had our first Messy Miners session, with an intrepid crew of builders from across Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.

We heard the story of the “Wedding at Cana” and then had a go at building the scene.

In a nod to a recent big news event, one of the groups built a “conclave”, with a choice of popes who could preside at the wedding.

There were great wondering questions and thinking from all participants about the story, as well as fantastic micro prayer builds to finish off.

If your teen would like to join our community for our next build on Sunday, June 1 at 4pm, or on July 27 or August 17, you’ll find the free sign-up link here

In June we will be exploring the story of the Holy Spirit coming at Pentecost, including rushing wind and tongues of fire.

I’m excited to see how our Miners will interpret this story.
