Sonderverse has always been about connection — a space where people from anywhere and everywhere can come together to explore faith, life, and community.

Today, we’re excited to share something new with you: a fresh logo that captures everything Sonderverse stands for.

Yes, we’ve had a glow-up. But our mission? That’s still the same.

Who we are

Sonderverse is a digital ecosystem built for community, faith, and exploration. Informed by the values of the Uniting Church, we’re deeply committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and affirming space — wherever you find yourself on your spiritual journey.

We are passionate about:

Belonging that doesn’t require belief as a prerequisite.

Progressive theology that wrestles honestly with the big questions.

An affirming community that celebrates all identities.

A space for deconstruction that welcomes doubt, curiosity, and growth.

Authenticity — both on and off the screen.

In Sonderverse, you’ll find people gaming together, streaming together, praying together, asking deep questions, laughing, creating, and discovering what it means to live fully across all aspects of our lives – including digitally.

So what is with our new logo?

It’s a symbol of what Sonderverse is becoming. A visual reminder of who we are and why we exist. It brings together three things:

A wi-fi symbol – because Sonderverse is fully digital and fully real.

Holding hands – symbolising our core as a community built on shared experience, support, and togetherness.

A location pin – because Sonderverse is not just an idea; it’s a real space, grounded in presence and intention — no matter where you log in from.

This new look reflects what we’ve known all along: that belonging transcends time and space. That community can be created, nurtured, and grown across distances; and that faith doesn’t have to stay inside four walls.

Sonderverse is just getting started

Whether you’ve been with us since the beginning or are just discovering this weird, wonderful digital family — now is a great time to jump in. Bring your whole self. Ask your questions. Show up as you are.

You are not alone. As Psalm 139 reminds us, “Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?… Even the darkness will not be dark to you.”

So, welcome to Sonderverse — same heart, new look, and a whole lot of life ahead.
