Join us for of an evening of artistic cultural sharing through Pacific Island traditional and religious expression. Canterbury Balwyn Road Uniting Church presents this event as a way of witnessing and experiencing the gifts and talents of the Tongan culture – a day of intercultural sharing and connection through fellow churches.
You will be moved by the mesmerising harmonies of the choir, graceful cultural dances exploring themes related to Tongan history, values, legends, and social structure. This uplifting performance is a celebration of spirituality and intergenerational unity, blending vocal and instrumental polyphony, choreography and oratory.
