Advice for re-starting youth ministry gatherings in Vic/Tas – UPDATED

As lockdown restrictions continue, churches will be able to consider how and when youth ministry programs (that include in-person gatherings) will resume. Below is a short video offering advice to leaders, ministry agents and church councils when considering this. Please note, it is current as of July 2, and will be revised as restriction levels change. It refers to youth ministry programs that occur on Uniting Church properties and are recognised as activities of Uniting Church congregations and faith communities.

The websites referenced in the video are listed below.

We anticipate offering another update as restrictions change.

For updated information, please check The Vic/Tas UCA Synod Covid-19 site

You can review restrictions for religious gatherings and other activities at the DHHS website (Vic only)

The Vic/Tas UCA Synod has prepared a CHECKLIST FOR CONGREGATIONS (PDF) to assist with property & cleaning considerations.
